Why Terrorists Attack Airports.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/01/25/jenkins.moscow.bombing/index.html
The point thery are trying to get across to you is that terrorists target airports because the level of difficulty it takes to actually suceed. They could get the same amount, or more people in many other areas. They say its for the thrill of it, and i would have to agree thats why they are doing it there. The numbers show that there have been other mass killings by terrorists in other areas that have more total casualties than airport terrorists. We need more security in airports just to make sure no matter what, terrorists are not suceeding.

Invention of Automobiles

Gary Parks
Automobiles

Can you imagine what it would be like if the trip to Garden City took 10 hours?
Right now we can hop in a car and make it in 45 minutes. That’s proves the dramatic difference in wagons vs. cars. The automobile industry has also helped many other industries evolve. There so many crucial parts on, or in an automobile, which causes there to be so many job openings and working options. Not only for money or time purposes, but there just a good time. Cars and trucks have been fun to drive for many citizens for decades.

The time a vehicle saves you going on vacations, or just driving to a ball game is such a great reason why they were invented. Put it this way; we’re playing a basketball game in Johnson, KS today. To get there on bus takes about thirty minutes. To get there in horse and carriage would take hours. So instead of leaving school at to get to our game on the bus, we would be leaving around in the morning on horse and carriage. Time is so crucial these days and to know how much time is saved by automobiles, is just a terrific fact (Idea Finder).

Think about how many jobs the automobile industry has opened. Without cars would there be tire companies, exhaust companies, transmissions and gas companies?
No of these would be around if it wasn’t for cars. Now think how many people in this world are mechanics or work at any thing to do with cars. Without opening that many jobs for us civilians to take advantage I don’t know where we would be at today. With the unemployment where it’s at I just don’t think we could make it (Idea Finder).

Cars do not only boost the economy and save time, but there so fun to drive. Due to cars we know have sports like rally racing, NASCAR and Baja Truck racing. Cars have been so much more than just a transportation invention. Many people in these days live for the thrill of driving a fast car or catching huge air in a rally car, it makes some people who they are. Obviously mechanics love the fact that there are cars. We call them “Grease Monkeys” because they could take a motor apart and put it back together in under an hour. I think it’s safe to say that automobiles were a great invention (American Dream).

I guess people could argue that cars were a bad invention because the amount of deaths caused by accidents. “On average in 2009, 93 people were killed on the roadways of the U.S. each day” (Nation Master). The statistics are there that prove how bad automobiles can be for the society. I jus feel as if without them the world would be a so much different place.

What I really feel on this whole topic is that automobiles are, and will continue to be one of the greatest inventions of all time. If only there was a way to cut down on the deaths caused by cars each year. There are so many positives to take out of the invention of the autombile though, its almost impossible to disagree.

Opinion

Honestly, it doesnt even bother me. I like doing this rather than the stuff we have to do in the classroom. Im not really into classroom work, not to amusing. I'd say blogging was a lot like tweeting, but without all my followers. I tweet alot so i should be good at this blogging thing. After this is all done i most likely wont blog because nobody would see it but me, so whats the point.
